Inner Beauty Ritual #2: The most important topic you will ever study is yourself.

Inner Beauty Ritual #2: The most important topic you will ever study is yourself.

I used to feel insecure, lost, and stuck.
I didn’t know how to move forward because I didn’t know which direction to move in.
I didn’t feel passionate about anything.
I envied the people around me who seemed to have it all figured out — falling into sexy, high-paying jobs while I trudged behind, overwhelmed and unsure.

I had studied well in school. I could memorize and follow criteria. Success there was clear: study the rubric, tick the boxes, get the grade.
But the real world isn’t like that.

There isn’t a checklist for becoming the fullest, most radiant version of yourself.

If you feel overwhelmed, empty, and lost — know this: it’s not the end. It’s the beginning.
Leaning into the discomfort and getting curious about why you don’t feel inspired is the first courageous step toward understanding who you are and what makes you shine.

Most people distract themselves to avoid facing this feeling.
They push down the inner nudge and follow the cookie-cutter path society laid out.
They do what is expected until one day, they realize they have lost themselves — their authenticity, their personal interests, and their innate gifts.

We spend so much of our energy looking outward, seeking ways to feel validated, fulfilled, and enough.
But the real magic happens when you take that energy and turn it inward.
When you study your blocks, your passions, your dreams, and your limiting beliefs, you reconnect with your Innermost self — grounded, self-assured, and aligned.

When you understand what lights you up, what your strengths are, what qualities you admire, where you tend to hold yourself back, how you work best, and what you value most — you can begin to carve out your own unique, meaningful path.

To cut through the noise of pressure and overwhelm...
To step away from the rat race...
To stop being consumed by what you "should" be...
Turn inward.
Lean into what lights you up.
Ground yourself by connecting to your Innermost.

10 Questions to Understand Who You Are

Take your time with these. Journal your answers with honesty and curiosity, without judgment. Let your authentic self speak.

  • What activities make me feel most alive, fulfilled, and present?

  • What qualities and values do I admire most in others?

  • When do I feel the most confident, grounded, and "myself"?

  • What environments or spaces inspire me to be my best self?

  • What are three strengths or gifts that come naturally to me?

  • Where do I often hold myself back out of fear, doubt, or insecurity?

  • What are three things I deeply value — things I would never want to sacrifice, no matter what?

  • If I could fully trust myself, what path or dream would I start moving toward today?

  • When have I felt the proudest, most aligned, or most joyful in my life so far?

  • What parts of me feel most sacred, precious, and worth protecting?

Your Innermost Code

Think of your Innermost Code as a compass.
When life feels noisy or confusing, return to it for clarity, direction, and groundedness.

Write one word under each prompt:

  • Light = What lights me up

  • Strength = What strengths I naturally embody

  • Values = What I value most

  • Vision = What I dream of if fear wasn’t present

I hope this Inner Beauty Ritual allows you to move closer to your Innermost self — placing any pressure or overwhelm you feel gently at bay.
Coming back to this ritual has given me clarity, groundedness, and a sense of assertiveness when I need it most.
And now it is here for you, too.

Sending all my love,
Mia xx
